Review and Visualization of the Research on Biological Aerosol Particles Emission and Deposition

Activity: SupervisionCompleted SURF Project

Description

This bibliometric review emphasizes on biological aerosol particles – the bacteria, viruses, and spores also known as bioaerosols, which play an important role in the understanding of the environment and health. By employing the AI-assisted literature analysis and data visualisations such as using R codes, Citespace, VOSviewer, we identify the emission and deposition trends. The study focuses on the need for international cooperation and the increasing awareness of health issues, including the coronavirus pandemic. It is used to identify trends for historical research and evaluate the assets of liabilities for current connections with research topics. Furthermore, it supports further studies on the nature of bioaerosols and the use of knowledge integration as a means to address global issues, proposing the concept of introducing new technologies as well as applying broad scientific approaches to environment and health.
