The conference is to bring together researchers from the University of Seoul and Xi'an Jiatong-Liverpool University who are who are interested in exploring contemporary
Asian culture, spatiality themes including place making and smart cities, and urban justice.
The conference focuses on topics such as Chinese music platforms, Korean web novels,
smart city and inclusive city , locality and place making in the context of a relational turn,
data activism in Korea, and the urban commons in Seoul .
