Activity: SupervisionMaster Dissertation Supervision

Description

Colour cluster in interior architectural design is a transdisciplinary topic related to architecture, materiality, and environmental psychology. By analysing the colour theme in space, architects can better understand the relation between primary and secondary colours and decide better orientation in space. This essay analyses the colour arrangement and colour clusters in architectural studios from an architectural view. The common colour selection is summarised by exploring the interfaces which contribute to the colour groups in selected architectural studios worldwide. Furthermore, the research documents the colour orientation in two student architectural studios and use the Image Colour Summariser to analyse the colour theme. When the input source changes from photography to the architectural section, the colour proportion varies relatively.
