Research and Develop a Practical CTF platform for Hands-on Security Education

Activity: SupervisionCompleted SURF Project

Description

As more and more students become interested in cyber security, hands-on practice is increasingly desirable to make students digesting the delivered knowledge and improving the operational skills by doing concrete exercise. This project aims to design and implement a practical Capture The Flag (CTF) platform tailored for hands-on security education. The platform will provide a simulated environment for participants to engage in real-world cyber security challenges, thereby enhancing their practical skills and knowledge. The objectives include creating a user-friendly interface, developing a diverse set of challenging scenarios, and incorporating robust scoring mechanisms. The project will also focus on optimizing the platform's scalability, security, and performance. Through this endeavor, the goal is to offer an immersive and effective learning experience for individuals interested in cyber security, ultimately contributing to the advancement of practical security education.
