Description
Following a nonperturbative formulation of strong-field QED developed in our earlier works, we present recent results on first-order radiative processes in QED with external fields. These processes involve the emission and absorption of a photon by an electron as well as from the vacuum accompanied by an electron-positron pair in a quasi-constant external electric field. More precisely, we present differential and total probabilities of these processes, analyze their angular and polarization dependence, and investigate characteristics under which photons are emitted with high and low frequencies. We also discuss the role of the time duration of the external field and estimate ranges of parameters that maximize the effect.Period | 2 Sept 2024 |
