Multi-Building, Multi-Floor Time-Varying Indoor Localization Database for XJTLU Campus

Description

This project aims to build a multi-building, multi-floor time-varying Wi-Fi received signal strength indicator (RSSI) fingerprint database for indoor localization. We will measure Wi-Fi RSSIs at fixed locations on XJTLU campus repeatedly over a period of time (e.g., daily measurements over a month), analyse & preprocess them, and construct a Wi-Fi fingerprint database. We will also develop a user-friendly web portal for the multi-building, multi-floor time-varying indoor localization database. These will be a basis for our ongoing research on indoor localization and data augmentation that take into account the time-varying nature of Wi-Fi RSSIs.
