The trend in creating soft and flexible materials to serve in electronics applications has drawn a good attention the last decade. The scientists have been looking for a soft and conductive material to create circuit in measuring biological signals such as electrocardiogram (ECG). However, due to the demand of longlasting feature for these electronics, it is of great importance to develop a conductive and self-healing material in facilitating the durability and repeatable use of the developed soft electronics. This project aims to provide a solution to the demands of dual functions (i.e., conductivity and durability) in electronics by creating layer-by-layer structure of PDMS/BSA bottlebrush elastomer. The Young’s modulus and conductivity are to be determined by the end of the project for the prepared multilayer structure, demonstrating the advantages of the self-healing in the conductive electronics applications.
