Latin America is well known for its rich and varied dance culture, which has spread worldwide in recent decades. In this session, participants are initiated into the Latin dance culture through an interactive presentation, a dance performance of Cuban Rueda, and an open class where they can “give their first steps” as Latin dancers experiencing emblematic rhythms such as “merengue.” Presentation, performance, and open class are guided by a National Dance Champion, assisted by other experienced dancers and presenters.
