China has announced the ambitious goal to achieve peak emissions by 2030 and be carbon neutral by 2060. Industrial sectors are trying to improve energy efficiency. Only what measures can be managed. Environmental audits and associated tools such as energy, water, and waste audits serve to measure and monitor environmental performance and can help organisations identify energy/water-efficiency improvement opportunities. Consistent with the Responsible and Sustainable Business Education at IBSS, this SURF project aims to help students get familiar with current industrial practices through a simplified environmental audit in the IBSS building. It helps students gain a wide knowledge of energy/water consumption and some hands-on practices of environment audit at the organisational level. By collecting and analysing the collected data, students can be aware of influential drivers for consumption. In the end, we will make recommendations for efficiency improvement for IBSS building, and to some extent, for universities.
