Data-driven energy management for smart retrofitting in existing housing stock

Activity: SupervisionPhD Supervision

Description

Buildings, as significant contributors to carbon emissions, hold immense potential for analyzing
the existing energy management system and implementing low-carbon strategies in their
design, construction, operation, and maintenance. The objective of this project is to pioneer
innovative smart retrofitting solutions geared towards the existing housing infrastructure, thereby
reducing building carbon footprints and enhancing energy efficiency. This project would signify
a significant step towards low-carbon building renovation and substantial energy conservation,
contributing to a more sustainable building decarbonization and mitigating the impact of climate
change.
