73rd International Forum of the Institute for Urban Humanities, the University of Seoul.
This forum aims to open a field of discourses on the publicness of housing development by developing a comparative review of the production of urban spaces in two distinctive forms of market economy: socialist-and-neoliberalist combined market economy (Berlin) and developmentalist-and-neoliberalist combined market economy (Seoul). The questions guiding the forum revolve around what housing means and what it should be in contemporary urban societies.
