Abstract:
Tourism is on the rise again in the post-pandemic era to relieve economic pressure on cities and to satisfy people's hunger for traveling and discovering in a timely manner. Artificial Intelligence (Al) applications are mostly utilized to aid in the effective smart travel evaluations in the areas of SUPPLY and DEMAND.
The background research on the development of digital travel and the development trend of Al application, in the travel industry of smart city, the SUPPLY side helps the industry participants, i.e., consumers and builders, to constitute a complete digital information system through the safe and transparent sharing of big data information is presented in this paper. In-person user research on the DEMAND side of the consumer experience demonstrates that several platforms are sprouting to deliver more disconnected tour information, making scheduling more challenging. And, based on an examination of current market competitors, it was discovered that very few papers investigate Al travel planning technology and application; Al and the user's direct interaction remains more in the cell phone screen and other virtual information, access to information in a single form; at the same time, local areas of poor network of external factors interfere with the travel experience has a negative impact.
As a result, this study investigates the intersection of design and Al applications, discusses the applicability of generative Al technology for travel planning, and summarizes previous user
journey experiences in order to conceptualize tangible product design solutions that can directly interact with users at various stages in the future.
