Description

Parasites are creatures that live in a symbiotic community with their hosts. In some cases the parasite is destructive to the host in others both host and parasite are benefiting from the community. Can this ambiguous relationship be translated to the urban landscape? This ad hoc design exercise will explore the possibilities of this biological phenomenon when applied to the urban and architectural context. The urban parasite is colonising in the urban environment of Suzhou.

We will conduct the exercise including all students from year 2 and year 3 and visiting students from Germany into this one week workshop
