2023 Italian Design Icons - Chongqing Station

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce – Chongqing Office, together with the Consulate General of Italy in Chongqing, supported this year’s edition of Italian Design Icons (IDI) – Chongqing Station.
On Saturday, May 27th, IDI Chongqing, organized by Eastant Communication & Events from an idea of DP Group, attracted more than 150 visitors to the Tao ART Gallery.
This year's theme was "The Quality that Lights Up: The Energy of Design Integrating People and Environment." The event included a series of fascinating talks with designers, architects and production experts.
IDI Chongqing marks the official launch of the IDI Design Contest this year, which sees the collaboration between IDI, iGuzzini and XJTLU Jiaotong Liverpool University in Suzhou. The contest in this first phase is dedicated to Jiaotong University students who will work during the summer session and will subsequently be selected by a prestigious jury and awarded in November 2023 during the IDI Shanghai Edition.
